September 1st marked the one-year anniversary of the Gamma Partner Program, and we have so much to celebrate as we reflect on the incredible journey so far! Over the past 12 months, the program has grown, evolved, and achieved remarkable milestones thanks to the dedication and collaboration of our partners. As we commemorate this important date, let’s take a look back on all the exciting developments, accomplishments, and memorable moments that made this year so eventful and fulfilling.

The launch of Prints

The Gamma Partner Program began with the launch of our Prints feature, an exclusive tool that allows artists to use recursive inscriptions to produce multiple editions of a single piece at lower costs — much like they would with traditional printmaking. Prints was a success right from the start, but it was only the beginning of what we’ve been able to accomplish together with our community of Partner Artists. Today, Prints remain a popular feature for art enthusiasts to collect works from their favorite artists on Bitcoin.

Bringing visibility to Partner Artists

Gamma has showcased Partner Artists’ artworks at galleries and events all over the world — in North America with Miami, New York, Denver, Los Angeles, Nashville, Austin, and Mexico City, and in Europe with London, Brussels and Amsterdam, as well as in Africa with Nairobi, Kampala and Dar Es Salaam, in Australia in Melbourne, and in Asia with Bali, Hong Kong and soon, Singapore.

We were also successful in placing half a dozen Gamma Partner Artists in Sotheby's Natively Digital Sale, considered by many to be the ultimate venue for contemporary art sales, offering unparalleled visibility and recognition within the global art community. Having our artists showcased in such a renowned auction speaks volumes about the quality, creativity, and innovation they bring to the digital art space.

From the digital to the physical world

When it comes to bridging the gap between the worlds of digital and physical art, Gamma’s also been hard at work. In under a year, we released two physical collectibles showcasing our Partner Artists’ creations. The First Edition of our Prints Art Book 2023 showcased nearly 80 artists and close to 130 artworks, presented in beautifully handcrafted spreads. Each of these works are also permanently inscribed on Bitcoin and associated with their original inscription number. Earlier this year, we launched The Deck, a physical playing card deck created in collaboration with just under 60 artists. Each card features bespoke artwork, making the deck a unique and collectible piece of art.

In addition to these releases, Gamma’s Partner Artists have had their physical works sold and gifted at high-profile events. At the NFTNYC Halvening Party, VIPs were presented with framed prints of Partner Artist (and Gamma ops lead!) carolevy’s dotwork Runestone. During Miami Art Basel, attendees of our Ordinals Edition event had the opportunity to receive physical prints of Waxbones’ Kaiju and Stone Crab posters, further connecting our community to the tangible side of digital art.

A talented and collaborative community

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the Gamma Partner Program and provide greater value to our artists, we are excited to have welcomed Ol1y, Empress Trash, TheArtist, and Pawel Dudko as Partner Ambassadors. They bring their expertise and unique perspectives to support fellow Partner Artists, offering personalized insights, advice, and second opinions. Their involvement fosters a more collaborative and supportive community, ensuring artists have access to guidance from established voices in digital art. We’re proud to work with such talented ambassadors as we continue to expand the scope and offerings of the Gamma Partner Program.

Since the program's inception, we’ve welcomed new artists every month, and today we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our debut Partner Artists as they complete their 12-month membership with Gamma. It has been an honor for us to be part of the movement to inscribe such high-quality art on Bitcoin, preserving these works forever. Through our exclusive Prints feature, nearly 25,000 prints by Partner Artists were printed over the past year, showcasing the incredible talent within our community.

What's next?

This is just the beginning. Later this year, we'll be showcasing Partner Artists’ artworks at Bitcoin Amsterdam and Art Basel Miami. We have our sights set on South America for next year, marking an exciting new chapter for the Gamma Partner Program as we work to bring our artists’ works to even more international stages and audiences. Stay tuned as we continue to grow and elevate the Gamma Partner Program!
